What is Motability and How Does it Work?

If you receive a benefit because you have a disability or perhaps an illness that makes it hard for you to get around, you can use it to pay for a vehicle from a charity called Motability. You can choose from lots of different vehicles, for example cars, mobility scooters or powered wheelchairs.

Use part of your Motability allowance towards new scooter or powerchair. A new scooter and powered wheelchair cost less than you think to lease per week. We have an extensive range in our showrooms of products for you to view, try, and choose from. We can give you a good idea of the weekly cost of your Motability scooter or powerchair. We can also advise you on additional extra costs such as solid tyres or a canopy.

The Motability scheme allows you to upgrade and customise your product. Getting the right product to suit your needs is a important and our rehab product experts can help you choose the right addons.

Service & Repairs

We are here to support and service your Motability scooters and powerchairs. We are on hand and on call if you need us to change a battery on a mobility scooter or need a new charger for your powerchair.
